Founded in 1975, the firm’s early work consisted of master planning commissions for the Delaware & Raritan Canal Commission (One of the buildings in the study is pictured on the right), the Snug Harbor Cultural Center, and the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark. The firm directed Snug Harbor’s capital restoration and redevelopment programs, including the conversion of the former seaman’s retirement complex into Staten Island’s premier cultural center. Our relationship with many of these clients continues to this day.
From this beginning, we have become a full service architectural firm focusing on several core areas of practice - master planning, design, historic preservation, sustainable & energy efficiency design. We have served many of the area’s leading clients - universities, K-12 school districts, cultural and museum clients, municipalities and government agencies, private clients and developers.
For more than 35 years, we have continued to serve the New York and New Jersey marketplace with excellent design, outstanding service and innovative solutions.
